the editing bin #12: The question is not so much where we are as when we are. (40:23)

Few people could add a movie to the Star Trek pantheon without trembling under the collective gaze of Trekkies everywhere. Yet, JJ Abrams has bravely done exactly that with Star Trek (2009), a prequel to the famous series. In honor of his bravery, the editing bin is reviewing Serenity (2005) and Stargate Continuum (2008), two science fiction films that are based upon two television series with global cult followings. The girls will tell you if watching these films will help you live long and prosper.

The Critic's Pick for this week is Last Chance Harvey (2008).
